Will this school bond raise my taxes?
NO! There will be no tax increase if we pass Props A & B. An analysis of Props A and B, found that approving these Houston ISD school bond measures will NOT increase the local property tax rate.
A newly passed state law requires *any* school bond measure to include ballot language stating, “this is a property tax increase”, regardless of whether or not the measure actually increases the local property tax rate.
We can invest in our schools right now–without raising taxes–by passing Props A & B.
